Lauren has been in association management for more than 30 years, starting as association executive before managing a regional MLS that became IRES, Information and Real Estate Services. Lauren has served as the CEO since IRES was formed in 1996. She guided the organization through the transition from a national MLS provider to a custom-designed system that launched in 2001. The MLS system has continually evolved and is known for innovation, integration, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
IRES facilitated over $7.2B in real estate transactions in 2015 and serves over 5500 real estate professionals in Colorado. ColoProperty.com, their public-facing listing website, has enjoyed almost 20 years successfully serving brokers and consumers. More recently, IRES took the bold step of collaborating with other MLSs in Colorado to display their listings on ColoProperty.com, significant expanding the site’s geographical footprint and reach.
Lauren has served on the Multiple Listing Issues and Policies Committee of the National Association of Realtors®, several work groups of NAR and a variety of advisory boards including Realist, Sentrilock, Colorado State University’s College of Business-Everitt Real Estate Center, Move.com and the Governor’s Energy Office. She currently serves as the President-elect for CMLS, is a “Best Practices” and CMLX instructor, has earned her CMLX1 and CMLX2 designations, and is part of the inaugural class for the CMLX3.
